About the project

This project was created because a company reached out to me through a friend, and asked if I could make a payment system that handles the customers orders, instead of having the customer having to reach out to the employees to place orders. It was a very fun process of having people review the work and give feedback on what to change and what to improve. It started off as just a simple idea, and along the development the owner had more ideas on what do add and how to improve it, and in the end it was a finished system that the customers can use to place their orders that gets stored in a google spreadsheet that the company was using to track the orders.

Tools used

The tools that were used for this project was the Discord package in Python to create the discord bot, and Google spreadsheet to store the order details in. To deploy the bot, we used Ngrok and deployed it on the owners laptop that he kept running 24/7.

Outcome

This was a really fun project and it teached me a lot about business impact, customer value, and how projects work in the real world and in businesses. This project was then sold to the company because they liked it and had great use of it.
